He would have been 44 years old today. One love to Tupac and all the other amazing and talented artists we have lost over the years.
In honour of his Birthday, RnB artist Jhené Aiko has made her own tribute to the late great Tupac. Aiko was only 8 years old when Tupac died on Sept. 13, 1996. But according to www.mtv.com, Aiko was greatly affected after seeing the 2003 Tupac documentary. According to the MTV article,
“To celebrate Shakur, Jhené recreated three classic Tupac photos with photographer Danny Williams.”
“…In addition to the photos, Jhené shared a video of her covering her favorite Tupac song, “Keep Ya Head Up,” and she sat down with MTV News to talk about the influence that Shakur has had on her life, her soul and her music.”
I’ve posted the pics and audio covers for you to see or visit www.mtv.com for more info.
