I hope I didn’t scare you by coming up to you and complimenting you as I did. See, I’ve seen you there many, many times, but never wanted to come up to you. Why? Because you’re probably married, with child or you have a Fiancee or Girlfriend. To his other half, please know I meant no disrespect. I merely paid the man a compliment (because he’s a good looking chap) and went on my merry way. I didn’t ask for his name, his #, nor did I even let the man speak. I caught him out of breathe, at the end of his set, said my peace and took off like a bat outta hell.
Have I possibly made things worse or weird now? I hope not. I don’t go to the gym and pine after man like some of these women and naive girls do. I do my workout and leave. He’s the only brother in that entire stinky ass gym that I have seen and I felt like giving him a simple compliment. I think compliments can go a long way in someones day (or so I like to think).
Dear Gym Guy, I won’t look in your direction ever again in life. I would hate to think that you think I’m super nutso – I’m a weeee bit crazy, but not 100% nutso. I won’t harass you, nor will I ever try to speak to you again in life. It’s just something I wanted to do/say to you. You’re hella handsome and that’s it. At least I know I had the balls to say it. Nothing was gained and nothing was lost on either sides.
It’s just my luck that the men I meet are taken in whatever way or hurt and dealing with their shit. ***sigh***
Have you ever had the guts, in your lifetime, to go up to someone and say to them that they are good looking? Let me be clear, I’m not referring to places of a more social setting (i.e. clubs, lounges or any loud ass parties, etc.). I’m talking about at the gym, the grocery store, while driving, etc? Have you ever had the guts?
Comment below and let me know 🙂
All I know is today I grew some balls and now I can move on.
Thanks Gym Guy for not punching me or being rude. Appreciate it!!!!
