To my Dad, my Father, aka “Pops”,
You may not be perfect to a lot of peole, but you’re just perfect to me. You’ve taught me valuable lessons about love, life and following your gut. There aren’t enough words to express how much I love you. Despite all the crazy, you’re always Pops.
Happy Father’s Day. Being a fellow Leo along with being my Dad, you have raised me to be the strong and resilient person and woman I am today. You’re always giving – right down to the shirt off your back – true story yall!
My Father took me to all my volleyball games and early morning practices. He showed up for every special event and trusted me a lot. Whenever I broke a bone, he stayed calm and took me to more than one hospital trip. He cooks the most amazing meals with a long lasting, make you smile kind of presentation. He always made me lunch and ensured I had a little change in my pocket. Pops, the guy who can adpat to anyone, of any creed, from any nation. My Pops, who loves wholely and has done and will do whatever necessary for his children. It’s all these things that make you Pops… my Pops 🙂
Pops, you’re the best!!! Happy Father’s Day to the man who created me, raised me, has always loved me unconditionally and taught me to always be open minded in life, love and even music. He’s the one man I can always depend on no matter what. He’s always had my back through thick and thin. He’ll correct me when I’m wrong and smile when I’m right.
I love you Pops. Happy Father’s Day!
To all the Father’s out there being the best Dad they can be or being both Mom and Dad to their child/children, I salute you. It takes so much to be a great parent. The love and willingness is always unconditional. Keep on keeping on. You’re doing great!! When things get tough, continue looking at your children for the strength you need to move forward. We all know there’s no parent manual, but your internal switch will flip on immediately and you’ll know what to do and when. Trust yourself 😉
For those who are new Father’s or are expecting, congrats to you. This is going to be a hard, but very amazing and rewarding journey. Love fully and laugh often. Give your child all types of memories they can carry with them forever.
